Kathy Cooper Floorcloths have been kid tested, pet tested and life tested!

I know you will have many years of enjoyment from your floorcloth.

I have been making floorcloths for close to forty years!  I have them all over my house.

Painted floorcloths are very long lasting, some of mine are 25 years old.  The painted floorcloth has a thicker surface and can be touched up if needed. (Only paintings can be touched up not prints.)

The printed floorcloths are a more recent addition that was created about 10 years ago.  The printed surface has been independently lab tested for UV exposure and wear. Customers tell me they love them and they return to buy more.

A floorcloth does not require special care but here are some suggestions that will help you keep yours looking nice.

  • Due to the abrasive beater bars on most vacuum cleaners do not use one on the floorcloth.  Be sure to tell everyone who cleans in your home.

  • Use a dry dust mop or broom. Sweep clean or lift it up/shake the dirt free.

  • If you need to roll it (roll design side out) or drape it over a railing while cleaning the floor.

  • Clean with a floor mop or wipe with a damp sponge.

  • Use a gentle floor cleaner that will not leave your floorcloth sticky.  A Bona spray mop works great.

  • For tough dirt, spray Tilex on the paint or print and let sit…then wipe clean.  Do not scrub.  Try Folex carpet cleaner on the binding.

  • To move or store your floorcloth roll loosely with the design side facing out.  For longer storage roll on a rigid tube to prevent wrinkles.

  • Leave your dirty tennis shoes or garden boots at the door!  Grit is very abrasive.
